Little saddens the Londoner more than when one half of a happy couple goes “off piste” for a year or two. Happily, so close to Valentine's Day, Owen Jones — award-winning Independent columnist, scourge of the ruling classes and firebrand author of Chavs: The Demonization of the Working Class — is, we hear, back with his Old Etonian ex,Actually it is quite flexible to choose the cheap maggie sottero wedding dress for you. George Taylor, aka “Gorgeous George”.
Jones, 28, believes “private school parents” such as George's “waste their money”. In 2011 he said: “Separating children on the basis of their parents' background denies children the chance to mix with others.”
But it seems Nick Clegg isn't the only closet fan of public school as Oxford-educated Jones reaches across the class divide. “George is spiffing,” says a chum. “Drop-dead gorgeous and poised for breakthrough as an actor.” And will the imminent introduction of gay marriage mean wedding bells for the “Upstairs, Downstairs” couple? “We're hoping so,” says their pal. “But don't ask quite yet whether the dress code will be top hats or flat caps and whippets.”
Coming up on 20 years of marriage, Ken and Ginette Dehne of Campbellford decided to renew their wedding vows recently - in a most unusual way.
The couple tied in their event with the annual Polar Bear Plunge on Jan. 26, taking to the icy waters of the Trent River in their wedding finery following a brief ceremony.
Ken, owner of Ken's Stereo for 30 years, said he and Ginette wanted to "drum up support for their local hospital" after participating in the plunge last year.Wanna to buy the new Off-Shoulder Wedding Dresses now?
The couple married June 26, 1993, at St. John's United Church.
The wedding party - the Dehnes, maid of honour Kim Ray and best man Earl McLean - arrived at the Lions park in a black stretch limousine.
Pastor Dave Stephenson of the Free Methodist Church performed a short ceremony and then the wedding party - including the pastor - all jumped into the river.
Ken said they were actually quite calm but the women were a little cold standing in their summer dresses.
The wedding party raised $2,418 before the event and another $300 with the wishing well at the plunge. A dance was held later on that night and even more funds were collected.
